Utah Urban Arts Gallery: Divine Delirium
"Divine Delirium" (October 1st - November 3rd) The artists behind "Divine Delirium" boldly dove into the deep end of the inspiration pool and resurfaced with surreal, otherworldly, and dreamlike pieces of art to share with the world. Simultaneously whimsical and heartfelt, provocative and playful, this October exhibit was a unique and compelling adventure through the wilder realms of the imagination.

"Animalia" (August 6th - September 1st) Throughout the month of August, the walls of Urban Arts Gallery will be adorned with art celebrating the diverse beauty of animal life on Earth. There will be a reception on Friday, April 19th from 6 – 9 pm.

Utah Urban Arts Gallery: Pale Blue Dot
"Pale Blue Dot" (April 2nd - 28th) is an exhibit of art in honor of Earth Day. This theme can be explored in many different ways: landscapes, social commentary, abstracts, etc. The exhibit also includes work made with recycled or repurposed materials. There will be a reception on Friday, April 19th from 6 – 9 pm.

Biologique at the New Mexico Art League
Kurt presented new original artwork printed on metal at the New Mexico Art League in Albuquerque. "Biologique: Art Inspired by Nature", a juried exhibition featuring multiple New Mexico artists ran from January 17 - February 25. A reception was open to the public on Saturday, January 28th from 5 – 7 pm.

One Allen Center Gallery Showing
The Aperture Series prints on canvas and mounted to sintra were showcased in the vast lobby of the One Allen Center in Houston, Texas over the course of several weeks. All of the prints were sold.

Galleria Lazzara Showing
Kurt participated in the Galleria Lazzara Annual Art & Photography Show alongside 11 other artists and photographers in the Houston, Texas arts district. Eight pieces of photography were shown printed on gallery wrapped canvas. Five of the eight prints were sold.

Houston Heights Studio Gallery
Kurt's artwork was presented in a private gallery showing in the historic Houston Heights Art District during a prominent independent arts festival along with several other locally known artists. Kurt was also mentioned in the local Clear Lake Citizen newspaper.

Carnegie Museum of Art
The "Oh Snap!" photography show was a collaborative photography project that let photographers share their work in the Carnegie Museum gallery. The Forum Gallery featured 13 works recently added to their photography collection meant to spark a creative response.

Three of Kurts "Aperture Series" pieces were accepted and presented within this well known juried art show, The Clear Lake Arts Alliance in Clear Lake, Texas located just across the street from NASA headquarters.

Winter Street Studios
This well known Houston artist collective is located in the historic Sawyer train yards. Several of Kurts pieces were on display at the monthly "Second Saturday" event in this awesome venue.

T3 Art Show: Featured Artist
The T3 (Third Thursday) Art Show showcases local artists in the studio of a Houston, Texas ad agency known as "T3". The "Aperture Series" prints were presented on canvas mounted to sintra backing board at this particular showing.

Fox 26 News: Featured Artist
Kurts artwork was featured on Fox 26 Morning News in Houston as the "Featured Artist of the Week" which helped him initially gain wider exposure within the local Houston art scene.

George R. Brown Center
A "Aperture Series" of work was on display at the George R. Brown Center Gallery during the Democratic National Convention which was hosted in Houston. The art show portion of this convention was considered a non-partisan event.

Galveston Art Walk
The Galveston Art Walk is one of the largest and most diverse art festivals in the state of Texas, Kurt sold prints from his "Aperture Series" at the art walk several years in a row.

Crescent Moon Wine Bar
This well known, high-end wine bar and restaurant in Spring, Texas features local artists and photographers each month. Crescent Moon Wine Bar is one of the largest and most successful wine bars outside of Houston. Kurt showcased his photography here and subsequently sold several photos printed on canvas.
